thanks for joining in. have a lovely weekend.
A girl I have never seen before was walking the opposite way down the street to me with the most enormous smile on her face smiling at each passer by. She beemed and it made me smile back - inside and out. She looked happy, she was spreading that happiness for sure x
ReplyDeletewhat's that 15 hours child-free thing like anyway?
ReplyDeletelove fluffy slippers too-congrats on the ebook! look forward to it
lots of lovely things here...
ReplyDelete15 hours child-free writing time - that is truly delicious. I still appreciate getting time like that, even though it's much more common now that I have a nearly-10 year old than it once was. It still feels like a lovely novelty : )
And an e-book - how exciting!
the child free time - meh! it was OK
ReplyDeleteyahahaha- right! It was wonderful, incredible, healing, soothing, QUIET, focused. I was MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE - which I'm pretty good at - much better than this mothering lark!
- the last - and only time I had more than an afternoon away was exactly two years ago on my only night away in 6 1/2 years - and I was pregnant at the time so not REALLY alone!
@Rose - LOVE the smiling girl!
@ Mon Haven't seen the moon time post. Intending to put the recipe up on Queen of Puddings - will give you the link when it's up
@Kelli - intending to launch the e-book in the new year - still got to proof, edit, illustrate and set up pay pal etc over at The Happy Womb.com before it's ready to go live
More Joy Pockets to add-
* the place I'm writing signs for has commissioned me to do more
* off out to a Christmas craft fair now!
*curling up on the sofa after a hot bath reading a new-to-me Nigella recipe book
